| As can be seen
from the table there has been a steady |
| increase in
catches throughout the years with a marked |
| improvement
compared to earlier years. The average |
| weight of the
salmon was 5,75 kg for 2021. |

SALMON CATCH STATISTICS - RIVER SKJERN
|

By the river Skjern it is required that all catches of salmons
be |
|
registered no later than 4 days after a salmon has been caught. |
| This rule applies to
all - fishing Association members as well as |
| fishermen buying a daily fishing license. |
| |
| Since, at the
moment, the fishing authorities would like to build |
| a bigger and more
sustainable stock of salmons certain quotas |
| are in place by
this river allowing only 1 salmon per year per |
| angler if the
fish is above 75 cm, if below 2 salmons per year is |
| permitted. |
| |
| Season is from 16. April until
15. October |
